The left and right rear sides of sand washing box are designed with sewage slurry tank. Through the self flow of sand washing water, the content of mud and fine sand in the water tank is reduced. the coarse sand and fine sand are separated from the uneven and unclean condition, and the sand washing cleanliness is improved, and the fine sand is more even.


How Three in One Sand Washer Work

The Three-in-One Sand Washer is a multifunctional piece of equipment used for washing, dewatering, and grading sand and other fine aggregates. It combines the functions of a wheel-type sand washing machine, a dewatering screen, and a hydrocyclone system in a single unit. The working principle of the Three-in-One Sand Washer can be described as follows:

1. Material Loading: The material to be processed, such as sand or fine aggregates, is fed into the Three-in-One Sand Washer through a feed hopper or conveyor belt. The material is evenly distributed across the width of the machine.

2. Washing Process: The material enters the wheel-type sand washing machine, also known as a sand washer, which is equipped with a rotating wheel or paddle mechanism. The sand washer utilizes the mechanical agitation and friction to remove impurities, such as clay, organic matter, and light-weight contaminants, from the sand.

3. Water Spray: During the washing process, water is sprayed onto the material as it moves through the sand washer. The water helps to dislodge and flush out the impurities, ensuring a thorough cleaning of the sand.

4. Dewatering: After the washing process, the clean sand is transferred to the dewatering screen section of the Three-in-One Sand Washer. The dewatering screen consists of a vibrating screen deck with fine mesh panels. The vibrating motion of the screen helps to remove excess moisture from the sand, improving its dryness.

5. Water Drainage: As the sand moves across the dewatering screen, the water component, also known as the filtrate, drains through the fine mesh panels of the screen. The drained water is collected and directed for further treatment or disposal.

6. Fine Sand Recovery: In the hydrocyclone system integrated into the Three-in-One Sand Washer, the water and fine sand that pass through the dewatering screen enter the hydrocyclone unit. The hydrocyclone utilizes centrifugal force to separate and recover the fine sand particles from the water, achieving further sand recycling and reducing water consumption.

7. Fine Sand Discharge: The recovered and cleaned fine sand is discharged from the Three-in-One Sand Washer through a conveyor or a chute. It can be collected and used for various applications, while the remaining wastewater is managed separately for treatment and reuse.

Final moisture content from a Dewatering Screen discharge is dependent on the nature of the solids. How fine are the solids? Are they hydrophilic or hydrophobic? Do they have a smooth or rough surface? All these factors will affect the final moisture content.
The final moisture content will be between 20-25% moisture by weight for 2.7 specific gravity materials, but the solids will be drip-free, meaning no free moisture coming off the Dewatering Screen. This material is then easily conveyable and stackable.
